This is the place to enter Utah’s premier photojournalism contest, giving you full control over how they appear to our illustrious judges. You may add, refine, or delete your entries from now until the deadline of 11:59pm Friday Feburary 17, 2012.
Entering the contest is easy. Each entry is a simple blog post, so if you have ever blogged you will pick it up quick. If you need help our tutorial videos will guide you through the process step by step.
The Entry Process
1. Sign up for a user account by clicking here.
Note: If you don’t receive an activation e-mail immediately after signing up, check your spam folder. They often get caught up in corporate e-mail accounts. If you run into trouble, try using a personal e-mail or contact us
2. Review the rules General Contest Rules and Contest Categories
3. Prepare your photos for entry
JPEG files, Maximum image size should be 950 pixels by 635 pixels, saved at quality 8 (high).
4. Watch the help videos for step-by-step instruction.
5. Send in your entry fee. $25 covers your entry, a year’s membership and free dinner/drinks at the awards banquet. Send to Rick Egan, The Salt Lake Tribune, 90 South 400 West #700, SLC, UT 84101.
6. From now until the deadline (11:59pm, Friday February 17, 2012), your entries will remain fully editable by you. If you change your mind, you can re-arrange, delete, add new entries, etc.
